What are the benefits of massage ?
Professional and dedicated massage treatment can provide benefits such as reduced pain/tension in muscles, improved blood circulation, improved flexibility, posture corrections, better sleeping patterns, and an overall sense of well-being.
What are common contraindications that clients should be aware of before considering massage ?
If a client has a fever, a common cold, or the flu, then they should not seek massage until the illness has passed. Any infectious diseases that a client may have should be treated by a medical professional. If the client has a skin condition, such as eczema or excessive acne, massage will most likely aggravate and cause the condition to worsen. Clients with recent injuries where there is still inflammation should be cleared by their doctor before seeking massage. Clients with high blood pressure or currently on certain medications should also consult with their doctor before making a massage appointment.
How to book a massage and payment options ?
Clients can book by using the BOOK NOW link at the top and bottom of the page or they can call/text to make an appointment. Clients may pay with cash or credit/debit card at the end of the session.
What is the cancellation/late/no-show policy ?
Clients should cancel appointments within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Failure to do so will result in a $10 fee to be paid prior to their next scheduled appointment. If the client is a no-show, a $20 dollar fee is to be paid before the next appointment. If a client is more than 10 minutes late to their massage, then the appointment is considered a no-show. Exceptions can be made situationally at the therapists discretion.
• Business Hours - Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 9 am to 7 pm
• Scheduling - Clients can book an appointment via the BOOK NOW link to Square at the top and bottom of the business website. Clients can also call/text to schedule. Clients can provide name, phone number, email, and address for the therapist to have proper communication.
Any other potential appointments during the week can be made at the therapists discretion.
• Setup-Breakdown-Cleaning - Ten minutes will be used between getting table ready, spraying and wiping equipment down, and loading equipment back up for the next session.
• Safety - Clients will fill out an intake/consent form upon the therapists arrival before the massage begins to inform the therapist of any potential concerns/conditions. Clients should make space in a common area of the home for setup before the massage will take place. A living room would suffice as it is generally enough space for the therapist to work. Clients with pets should keep them from interfering during the massage session. Clients should remove jewelry and other items that could inhibit the effectiveness of the massage.
• Payment - Clients may pay with cash or credit\debit card.
